Outside of Europe, the more adventurous Londoner is found hopping across the pond to enjoy summer in the United States of America. Popular destinations in the US include New York, Orlando and Miami. These East coast cities offer a range of activities, from family-filled fun at Orlando Sea World and Walt Disney World to the sophistication of New York’s galleries and restaurants.
On the other side of the US Londoners can be found enjoying the laid back atmosphere of the West Coast of America. There are also fantastic cultural destinations such as the Tate Britain and Tate Modern galleries, featuring great British artists including Barbara Hepworth, Henry Moore and David Hockney.
And, if the British Summer defies all expectations to be sunny and bright, enjoy a picnic in one of the many green and historic spaces from Hyde Park to Richmond Park. Make sure to make it a truly British experience and pack plenty of strawberries and Pimms.
