Easter is nearly upon us and there’s no better time to book a seasonal break with the kids or a getaway with friends in Orlando. Every year Disney World Florida offers an Easter extravaganza with an exciting itinerary of Easter activities and entertainment, egg hunts, parades, character specials and more – a place where all your Easter dreams will come true, just moments from your luxury villa in Orlando.

Magic Kingdom Park

During the week prior to Easter the Easter Bunny and his wife Mrs Bunny will visit Disney World. The bunnies will meet and greet families and sign autographs at Magic Kingdom Park with photographer’s on-hand to catch your special moment. The meet and greets take place at certain times in the Tour Guide Gardens adjacent to City Hall.

The world-famous Easter Parade takes place on Sunday 31st March at 3pm where guests can see a lively procession of colourful floats, lively music, dancers, Easter baskets plus all their favourite Disney characters dressed in their Easter finest! A smaller parade will take place 15 minutes before the main parade.

Disney World’s famous Easter Egg Hunts and Relays are usually held on Easter Sunday in Disney’s Epcot theme park. The Easter action is located in the Maze Garden in the United Kingdom Pavilion and in the East-er Garden in Future World for guests of all ages.

Once again the Easter bunnies will be in attendance for photographs and autographs in the Maze Garden during certain hours, and there’s set to be plenty of fun and games to keep everyone entertained including an Easter egg bean bag toss, a ‘bunny’ ring toss and plenty more!

Easter meals

Guests can enjoy a variety of Easter meals and special meal pricing at select locations throughout the resort on Easter Sunday. An Easter Brunch is set to take place at Epcot World Showcase located between Canada and the United Kingdom pavilions. Further details are usually announced a few weeks in advance.

Easter Sunday Church services

Easter morning services will be held in the Fantasia Ballroom at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. A Catholic Mass is held at 8am and 10.15am. A protestant service is held at 9am. Parking at the Contemporary Resort is usually restricted during service hours so guests are advised to use resort transportation.
